Settling in to the new London office

Our view

It's been nearly two months now since the development team formed a new outpost in central London, moving into an office on the 12th floor of Capital Tower in Waterloo. I relocated from Windsor at the end of March, so two weeks in feels a nice time to post about how life here is going.

We currently have six developers and engineers working out of the office full-time, and apart from not being physically located in the same place as the rest of the development team, it's largely business as usual. We communicate with the Windsor office via instant messaging and Skype video calls. This allows us to work in cross-site teams, and so far, seems to be doing the job quite nicely.

Our jerk chicken man

Location wise, we couldn't really ask for much more. We're sat just over the road from Waterloo station, we've got a brilliant view, and very importantly for us, are well within walking distance of some excellent lunch choices. Our favourite at the moment is a man who sets up in the local park with a barbeque and sells jerk chicken, complete with a fiery homemade hot pepper sauce.

All in all, it's been a pretty good start for the London Office. Keep checking back on the blog to see how we're getting on, and if you're interested in joining us, check out our Careers page.
